Venappara is a small beautiful village located in the north eastern part of Kozhikode district. It is located about 38 km away from kozhikode.It constitutes about 1050 acres of land that spreads in the villages of Koodathai and Neeleswaram.
There is a long history of hardwork, determination, sacrifice and self confidence of the immigrant people behind the construction of L.F.U.P School that shines in the zenith of Venappara village.Venappara was a forest area,filled with dense trees, streams, and wild animals when the most Rev. Fr. Anthonius CMI came here with the spark of knowlege and development. All the villagers,irrespective of the caste and creed supported this venture.
The life long dream of a group of people to make the village letrerate was fulfilled when a new Institution was started on 1954 June 1st. The school was inagurated on 1954 June 1st under the leadership of Mr. K.D Jose who was the first Headmaster of the school. The school was named as L.F.U.P School.There was 41 students in this school in its beginning stage.
This school is under the control of Diocese of Thamaressery. We are able to overcome many obstacles that came across our journey to the success. It in our duty to thank each and every people who workedvery hard behind this great achivement.Now we have around 700 students studiing from STD I to VII There is a brilliant team of 26 teaching staff and one non teaching staff under the guidence of school Manager Rev.Fr. Johnson Pazhukunnel .The most energetic and efficiant Headmaster Mr. Jose Thomas Njavally is the back bone of our school. We have a very supportive PTA and MPTA who are working for the welfare and development of our school.
