About Us

Till 1986, the educational institutions under Thalassery Diocese were managed by the Corporate Educational Agency of Thalassery which was constituted by Thalassery Diocese on 5th June 1967. After the division of Thalassery Diocese, all educational institutions under the jurisdiction of Thamarassery Diocese started functioning in the same name as Corporate Educational Agency of Thamarassery Diocese in the year 1987. A Trust was formed (Educational Trust of Diocese of Thamarassery -ETDT) under the auspicious guidance of Bishop of Thamarassery as its patron, Diocesan Curia members and Corporate manager as trust members in order to guide and monitor its various activities in the education field. Many of the schools functioning under the Trust have a history of more than 40 years since their existence was in the Diocese of Thalassery.

Corporate Educational Agency Thamarassery has been safeguarding the cultural heritage of this soil. We provide educational service to all, irrespective of caste, creed or religion. The teaching and non teaching staff in these institutions belong to different religions. At present the Corporate Agency has a network of 72 schools ranging from first standard to higher secondary classes. These institutions cover different villages of hilly areas in the districts of Kozhikode and Malappuram. All these institutions are being managed by the Corporate Educational Agency of the Diocese, which is the educational division of the Trust, headquartered at Thamarassery. Schools owned by the Trust enjoy minority educational institution status, covered under Article- 30 of the Constitution of India. These educational institutions promote great academic dreams, promotion of sports, arts, extra-curricular activities and healthy interaction among students.
