Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry Lab is conveniently designed for safety and accommodates more than 30 students at a time. The lab is well ventilated with appropriate furnishings including wash basins, reagent rack, gas cock and electrical points.The laboratory is designed to support and illustrate chemical concepts studied in the lecture portion of the course as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and encourage analytical thinking. Along with concepts of chemistry covered in lecture, the laboratory portions of the course will presents some additional chemistry, both theoretical and practical.
When they come to lab each week, come prepared, think about think about what is happening on molecular level, ask questions and see what they can learn ie what they get out of their laboratory experience will be directly proportional to what they put into it.
The functioning of the chemistry department in our school started in the year 2010 with one batch for biological science group. In the year 2014, additional computer science batch started. Through out the year the results are excellent. Each student is provided with apparatus for experiments. Students are given ample opportunities to make them expert in the particular experiment. There is a separate room for storing chemicals.

Mission
Department of Chemistry promotes a culture of intellectual engagement centred on the physical sciences. The Chemistry lab gives opportunities to perform experiments that explore the important chemical concepts and introduce proper lab techniques and safety. There is a lot of interesting chemistry to explore in the higher secondary labs. Students will enjoy learning it and that it will enhance their understanding of the material presented in class. It is our goal to instil in all students a sense of scientific inquiry that employs systematic, experimental and computational approaches to making and analysing materials relevant to society and the natural world.
