LIBRARY
Today education is no longer a system of ‘cramming and filling students minds with information but rather it is a process of self discovery encouraging them to learn on their own. It is said, “What is taught is not caught but what is read remains”. In this context school libraries have come to play a significant role in the present-day educational system. They are an integral part of the modern school setup.
Fathima Matha School has an excellent library. The room is airy and spacious. The students will use their libraries under the guidance of the teacher - librarian. Books are issued weekly to classes III and IV. Only one book shall be issued at a time and the students can keep it for seven days only. students are forbidden to exchange books without the prior permission of the librarian.
Fathima Matha School provide the facilities for Mothers' reading called 'AMMA VAYANA'. Our libray has a section for AMMA VAYANA books it contains Novels, Poems, Travelogues.
Thus, a good library is an asset. It widens student’s mind, improves their knowledge, clears their doubts and instills in them the habit of reading. Libraries help to make learning a self-discovery and a personal venture.
SMART CLASS ROOM
Quality education is an essential requisite in todays competitive environment. Technology has affected us in every aspect. Smart classes are a modernized method of education in Indian education scenario. Fathima Matha School has an excellent and well set-up Smart Class Room. 40 students can use it at the same time.Equipped with a good sound system, a laptop,LCD Projector and a wide Screen.
COMPUTER LAB
Technology plays a major role in twenty-first century education. The new model of integrating technology into the curriculum means that computers are on demand throughout the school day. We have well furnished computer lab in our school. We gives 3 periods for each classes in a week.
PLAY GROUND
We have a large play ground in front of our school. Students can practice football shuttle and other athletic items. There is an open stage besides of our play ground. Our playground is a nice one. It is important for us. Here our students learn all kinds of games and sports. Here they learn disciplines and sportsmanship also.
